I-CareMedicare Services Offers Low Cost Laser vision Treatment to Southern Ireland Clients
(PRWEB) November 4, 2004
Tremendous savings of UP TO 50% can be made on the cost of Laser Vision Correction, Cataract removal, Glaucoma Surgery, or Lens implants by visiting our Private clinics in France.
If you live anywhere in the UK and you are tired of waiting for the NHS to perform your Cataract removal, or Glaucoma treatment then we can help to speed up the process for you. It is now possible to have the operation within one week of contacting us, and what’s more, the cost saving can be up to 50% when compared to the same cost in private clinics in Great Britain.
Laser Vision Correction
One of the main advantages of Laser vision Surgery is that there is very little discomfort involved with the process. Most patients have both eye’s treated the same day. The day of your procedure your vision will seem out of focus. Generally, sharp visual acuity is achieved after a good night’s sleep. Most patients return to their normal activities within the first couple of days after the procedure without the need for spectacles.
For Patients with more than 6 sph diopters of myopia (near sighted) and for hyperopic (long sighted) patients, it may take a little longer for them to achieve sharp vision.
Like most major purchases, it is possible to pay too much for Laser Surgery. Laser Surgery should be a carefully considered decision, since this procedure will determine how well you see for the rest of your life. Laser Vision will correct the vision almost immediately and the general aim is to achieve best distance vision without the need for spectacles. If you are over the age of 45 you may still need to wear reading glasses due to the normal ageing effects of presbyopia which can not be cured as this is a normal condition associated with ageing of the muscles which control the focusing ability of the eye.
Cataract Surgery
This procedure can be carried out at our registered clinics in Calais France. Whenever possible, we aim for the operation to be carried out on the same day as the initial consultation, followed by an overnight stay at the Clinic for observation purposes. For convenience these operations can be carried out over a weekend if required. As our cost for this Procedure is much lower in France, it is possible to offer our services at much lower rates than those normally found in Great Britain, and in many cases are very competative with rates found elsewhere in Europe.
Glaucoma Treatment and Operations
These procedures can be carried out at our registered clinics in Calais France. Due to the nature of Glaucoma, each case is independently assessed by our Surgeons who will then advise you on the most appropriate treatment or operation.
Corrective Lens Implants
For those whose prescription is outside the normal treatment range of Laser Vision Correction, then intraocular lens implants are an option which is available. Implanted lenses can be used for the correction of more severe levels of short sight, long sight and astigmatism. Implants are a tiny lens which is placed inside the eye in a manner similar to that used for cataract patients. The lens is inserted through a small incision in the side of the cornea and sits in front of the eye’s natural lens, just behind the cornea. The benefits of this method are that the treatment is pain free as it is conducted under a general anesthetic, and also the visual recovery is fast with very good visual acuity results and the success rate is very good.
